What is Apple Newsstand?

Newsstand is Apple’s digital magazine store, where you can buy issues or subscribe to your favourite magazines and view them on your Apple mobile device.

What devices can I use it on?

Newsstand comes as standard with all Apple mobile devices running iOS 5 and above – so that’s the iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch.

How do I get started?

If you already have an iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch running iOS 5 you will see the distinctive wooden shelf icon of Newsstand amongst your other built-in apps on the home screen. Simply tap this icon to activate the Newsstand app, then click on “store” to find and download your favourite magazines. Or, why not click on any of the covers below to visit iTunes and download your magazines from there? The next time you sync to your mobile device, the magazines will appear in the app.
