Photoshop Creative introduces new beginners’ section

Photoshop for Beginners mini mag targets new users who want to learn Photoshop

Photoshop Creative magazine has always dedicated itself to teaching readers new techniques and skills. With issue 82, the title adds a new beginners’ section to the mix, which goes to the heart of Photoshop.

Photoshop for Beginners is a 16-page section that explains everything a Photoshop user needs to make the images they want. Covering Photoshop and Photoshop Elements, it explains the theory behind tools before showing how they can be used in practice.

“It’s easy to forget how confusing Photoshop is to a new user,” says Editor in Chief, Jo Cole. “With Photoshop for Beginners, we give newcomers all they need to use the program as well as offer existing users a refresher course on what each tool and command does.”

Each edition of Photoshop for Beginners focuses on a tool, filter, menu and palette, explaining what all the options do and how they can be used creatively. Readers will also learn about fundamental techniques such as making selections and using layers, in addition to discovering simple edits for improving images.

“Photoshop Creative already offers readers more tutorials than any other Photoshop magazine,” says Jo Cole. “The addition of Photoshop for Beginners means that the title truly offers something for everyone, from the greenest of user right up to Photoshop experts. It is the ultimate Photoshop learning resource.”

Since its launch in 2005, Photoshop Creative has grown into a global brand reaching millions of users. In addition to the print magazine, Photoshop Creative products include bookazines, interactive DVDs, eBooks, websites and digital apps.
