3D Artist teams up with Autodesk to offer a free cube calendar

Exclusive free calendar cube offers 3D inspiration throughout the year thanks to innovative design - perfect for the CG industry

3D Artist magazine has partnered up with Autodesk to produce the first ever 3D Artist cube calendar. Featuring a selection of high-quality CG images from established industry artists, readers have to follow some simple folding and gluing instructions to transform flat card into a calendar cube.

“We wanted to thank all our readers for their support over the past 12 months,” commented Editor, Sarah Slee, “and we thought offering two great free gifts this issue would be a nice way to do this. Rather than opt for a traditional calendar that hangs on the wall, we decided on a cube format. This way the calendar can sit on people’s desks and provide inspiration all the year round.”

Rafael Grassetti, José Alves da Silva, Andrzej Sykut, Cesc Grané, Jacinto Monteiro and Arkin Esref are the artists behind the stunning featured images. Meanwhile, building the calendar itself offers readers a chance to get hands-on with their free gift.

December’s issue of the magazine also comes bundled with a coverdisc packed full of practical resources. It’s worth $339 and includes over seven hours of video training, plus models and more.
