360 Magazine shows respect for Saints Row sequel
Imagine Publishing and THQ join forces to ‘big-up’ Saints Row: The Third with purple foil special process cover
On Wednesday 12 October, issue 91 of 360 Magazine goes on sale across the UK and the world, with a special celebration purple foil issue that contains a huge feature on THQ’s much-anticipated gangland sequel, Saints Row: The Third.
Saints Row was first released on Xbox 360 back in 2006, and since then has built itself a huge fanbase who adore the madcap world, obscene humour and memorable characters that only this series can offer. Now, with the sequel promising to be bigger, better and, more importantly, cruder and more outlandish than any other game on the market, it’s a title that truly deserves to be celebrated in this manner.
Suzanne Panter, Senior PR Manager at THQ, commented: “Saints Row: The Third is the biggest release in not only the history of the franchise but also in THQ’s recent history, and as such demands bold, eye-catching magazine coverage. The recent 360 Magazine cover with its amazing purple foil treatment demonstrates Imagine Publishing’s creativity and flexibility in delivering innovative solutions that really stand out.”
“The magazine really is going from strength to strength,” added Dan Howdle, Deputy Editor of 360 Magazine. “The Saints Row brand has always been synonymous with the Xbox 360, and this sequel is sure to impress gamers all over again. I’m delighted we could do this next instalment justice with one of the most striking covers in the magazine’s history.”
This special issue of 360 Magazine also includes the first print review of Forza Motorsport 4, a behind-the-scenes look at Aliens: Colonial Marines, and an alternative ‘griefers’ guide to one of the biggest games of the year, Gears Of War 3.
At only £2.99, 360 Magazine is the UK’s best value videogames magazine. Issue 91 is available to buy on 12 October 2011 from all good newsagents and supermarkets, and direct from www.imagineshop.co.uk. Digital versions are available from Apple Newsstand.
