Miller wins Rising Star award at
Games Media Awards
X360 magazine Deputy Editor is honoured by games industry at this
year’s GMAs, held in London
It’s smiles all around at Imagine Publishing as one
of its own, Simon Miller, celebrates winning the
Rising Star Award at the Games Media Awards held
by Intent Media last night (16 October 2008) at the
Jongleurs Comedy Club in Camden, in front of 200
journalists and games industry executives.
Miller, Deputy Editor of Imagine’s bestselling
independent Xbox 360 magazine, X360, began
his career as a copywriter at Sony Computer
Entertainment Europe before relocating to
Bournemouth to join Imagine Publishing in 2006.
Since then he has honed his journalistic skills
and relations within the games industry, becoming
first Games Editor, and then Deputy Editor on X360
magazine in record time. Together with his team, Miller has also gone live this year with a
regular series of popular Xbox 360 podcasts which can be found at
www.ImaginePodcasts.com.
