Digital Photographer increases sales by 23% in latest ABCs
Imagine Publishing’s flagship digital photography magazine sees another year of growth

Today Digital Photographer magazine announces its new
monthly sales figures that show a 23% rise on the previous
audited amount to 21,133.
Scott Caisley Advertising Director said of the results: “We are
once again delighted to see that Digital Photographer has
increased its circulation in this highly competitive marketplace,
since ABC 2004/5 we have achieved 67% growth. In an
increasingly competitive market, we are delivering healthy
circulation growth, which represents real value to our clients.”
Complemented by
Dphotographer.co.uk, which offers users
a free online gallery space, as well as the latest news and reviews in the digital photo
market, the magazine has continued to provide Imagine with a solid foothold in the digital
photography magazine market.
2006 saw Digital Photographer magazine achieve its highest-ever individual issue sales
figures, and this has continued into 2007 and now 2008. It is currently one of Imagine’s
most successful magazines. Digital Photographer’s dominant position has been achieved
through a focus on quality, high value production, and the sheer passion and dedication of
its editorial and design team.
“The Digital Photographer team is proud to unveil our new ABC figure which shows the
hard work, dedication and commitment put into this title,” said Editor, Debbi Allen. “We
all know how competitive the digital photography magazine market has become, and
the news that we have shown significant continued growth over the past two years really
demonstrates the strength and popularity of the Digital Photographer brand.”
2008 sees a programme of improvements including magazine
content and further investment expected for Digital Photographer.
Dan Slingsby, Editorial Director said: “I’m enormously proud of
what the Digital Photographer team has achieved and another rise
in our ABC is excellent news. I’m looking forward to working with
the editorial team over the next 12 months to further improve the
magazine and its website.”
