iCreate reveals 100 best iPhone apps in September issue
Inspirational Mac title partners with app developers to produce the essential guide to software for iPhone and iPod touch

iCreate magazine has this month released its guide to the 100
best iPhone apps from the iTunes App Store, showcasing the
best games, utilities and tools for Apple’s mobile wonder.
Want to know how to blog from your iPhone, share pictures
with friends or discover which mobile games are really worth
the money? iCreate’s 100 Best iPhone Apps feature answers
all theses questions and more with insight from the magazine
team as well as comments from those on the other side of the
store – the developers themselves.
Following the launch of Apple’s iPhone 3G and iPod Touch,
the App Store has been the most anticipated release so far
this year, and iCreate has made sure its coverage is at the forefront of this new software
platform by delivering a comprehensive breakdown of programs.
“The iTunes App Store has provided a second, third and probably fourth wind to the iPhone
with constant evolution through the apps that are developed for it”, said iCreate Editor,
Ben Harvell. “We’re really excited about this new platform and are working closely with app
developers to provide our readers with the most detailed and authoritative information on
the programs available, starting with our 100 Best iPhone apps feature.”
News Editor, Jimmy Hayes added: “The App Store has sold over 60 million apps in a few
short weeks, which means it’s going to be a core market for Apple. As a result we owe it
to our readers to give them the best coverage of the software available. We’ve started that
with our 100 best iPhone Apps feature and will continue with monthly reviews from here
on in.”
Launched in 2003, iCreate continues to provide the best coverage
of Apple software and hardware: from iPods, iTunes and the
new iPhone through to Mac OS X and the iLife suite of creative
applications.
