Imagine launches new websites for its creative magazine portfolio
Imagine Publishing today announced new websites for two of its key magazines – Photoshop Creative and Advanced Photoshop.

Since their launch, Photoshop Creative and Advanced Photoshop magazines have
provided Photoshop users with inspiration and advice on using Adobe’s outstanding
software. The new websites build upon this foundation by creating an online art
community for all Photoshop fans.
The most important function on the new sites is the gallery. This allows registered users
to create their own online space to upload their Photoshop masterpieces. Other members
can then leave a comment or rate the images, giving help and encouragement along the
way. The multiple search options mean you can target specific artists and styles, or just
meander through the entire collection of galleries.
Visitors can also enjoy downloadable PDFs from the latest issue and access competition
files to win great prizes. The existing readership forum areas can still be reached through
the site, combining to give Photoshop users a friendly and creative resource.
“These two new community-based websites are dedicated to bringing readers the best in
Photoshop inspiration,” said Jo Cole, Editor in Chief. “Readers can now show us and the
rest of the world what they have created, and enjoy the same online features as those
offered by our Official Corel Painter Magazine website ( www.paintermagazine.co.uk).”
The new websites are part of Imagine’s ambitious plans for digital development. Over
£1.5m is being invested to help ensure the impressive magazine portfolio is matched by a
quality online presence. Lee Groombridge, Imagine’s Interactive Media Manager said:
“We launched all our gallery-based sites with the intention of giving our readers an outlet
for their creativity as well as the chance to create their own online community. All three
sites have proven to be great additions to Imagine Publishing’s online portfolio and are an
indication of the great things to come.”
