SciFiNow gives away free sci-fi quiz coverdisc with August issue
After a stunning launch, SciFiNow looks set to consolidate its position
as the world’s most exciting sci-fi magazine with an incredible
coverdisc promotion.
For the first time ever, Imagine’s new magazine launch,
SciFiNow, is giving away a free special edition disc with
every copy of its latest issue, on sale 9 August. Containing
the Ultimate SciFiNow Quiz (featuring hundreds of
questions to test its readers’ sci-fi knowledge), a selection
of blockbuster trailers (including I Am Legend, Stardust
and Dark Is Rising), behind the scenes access and much,
much more, the free special edition disc is sure to win
SciFiNow myriad new readers.
The latest issue of SciFiNow gives readers unprecedented
insight into the future of Stargate Atlantis, on-set access
to the fantasy film of the year, Stardust, and a massive
preview of all the new and returning sci-fi shows set to
dominate 2008. Also featuring exclusive interviews with the director of Gremlins, Joe
Dante, Amanda Tapping and Neil Gaiman, it’s clear that for August, there’s only one musthave
sci-fi magazine – SciFiNow.
Aaron Asadi, Editor of SciFiNow: “The progress SciFiNow has made since its launch only a
few months ago has been phenomenal, and this latest issue carries this huge momentum
forward taking the magazine to a whole new level. The aim of this exclusive covermounted
promotion was to improve on what was already a superb package.”
The enthusiasm for the new issue was echoed by Imagine’s Advertising Director, Scott
Caisley, who commented: “Imagine Publishing has a history of investing in its magazines,
which is one of the reasons why SciFiNow is already the second best-selling sci-fi
magazine in the country. But we’re not resting on our laurels, so we have teamed up with
the UK’s premier film companies and put together an interactive
free CD that will appeal to all fans of sci-fi and cult TV.”
Imagine Publishing is one of the UK’s fastest growing consumer specialist
publishers. Formed in May 2005, it now publishes 20 magazines and 22
websites in the videogames, computing, entertainment and photography
markets. An Imagine magazine is purchased every ten seconds.
