Imagine announces relaunch of
Next3 as PSU3
Bournemouth-based publisher repositions PlayStation 3 magazine for
launch of the new Sony console

Imagine publishing is pleased to announce the relaunch and renaming of Next3, the UK’s
only magazine entirely dedicated to PlayStation 3. The new name of the magazine will be
PSU3, an acronym for PlayStation Unlimited.
Highlights of the redesign include the dramatically restyled news section and an innovative
Network section that spotlights PlayStation 3’s unique multimedia and networking
capabilities.
Nick Jones, Editor In Chief of Imagine Publishing’s PlayStation titles, said: “Next3 was created some time before the launch of the PlayStation 3 and was tailored
to reflect the machine’s functionality based on Sony’s specifications rather than actual
hands-on experience.”
“Now that we’ve been able to sample the PlayStation 3 hardware and software and
assess its unique capabilities we’re in a position to include content, and to style the
magazine, to better target and service PlayStation 3’s early adopters – the readers who
make up our core audience. We also felt that a name change would be the best way to
indicate to the reader that the magazine has had a major overhaul.”
PSU3 remains the only magazine on the market that is entirely dedicated to PlayStation 3
and with this redesign, along with its strong web presence, PSU3 is even better placed to
bring its readers the very best in PS3-centric entertainment and networking.
The first issue of PSU3 is on the shelves 29 March,
priced £4. |
